Second sinkhole opens up near Lake Mary home

The second sinkhole within three months opened up outside Debbie Coffman's Lake Mary home, causing concern among neighbors worried about their own homes. The sinkhole opened while contractors were still trying to fix the first sinkhole.

Channel 9 Eyewitness Newsspoke with Jim Flynn of LRE Foundation Repair, the sinkhole repair company hired to repair the ground. While he could not discuss the specific situation, he says that when you are dealing with unstable soil, any vibration can disturb the ground. Sinkholes are common after a short rain following weeks of dry conditions.
