Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation in Gulfport, FL
John. M contacted LRE Foundation Repair after he began noticing settlement cracks in his living room and a foul musty smell coming from underneath the home. After searching the web, he found our company and thought we would make a good fit.
One of LRE Foundation Repair's Crawl Space Specialists visited John's home to conduct a full home inspection. Our Specialist found that water was being trapped inside the crawl space increasing the moisture levels - resulting in wood rot and mold.
LRE was able to successfully remedy John's crawl space issue by installing 6 SmartJacks to permanently relevel and stabilize the foundation of the home - addressing the settlement cracks being seen on the interior of the home. Additionally, LRE added 32ft of supplemental beam to support the deteriorated rotted wood. To address moisture issues we encapsulated the entire crawl space to control moisture, airflow, keep out pests and insects, and ground contamination.
John's crawl space is now permanently stabilized and dry. Hecan now get back to enjoying his home without worrying about future settlement, or foul odors contaminating his home. LRE Foundation Repair is pleased that they could solve John's crawl space issues in Gulfport, FL once and for all!
