Massive Washout Due to Hurricane Damage
After a hurricane did severe damage to his home, Mr. P. called LRE Foundation Repair to address the problem foundation due to gaping voids under his home.
Gaping Voids Underneath Foundation
Many voids opened up underneath this home after a hurricane swept through the area. The erosion caused instability to the foundation of the home and LRE was able to address the problem with the proper solution.
Hurricane Damage to Home
This homeowner was lucky to still have his home after a hurricane hit the area. However, the foundation was severely compromised, so LRE engineered a plan to make this foundation solid again.
Flowable Fill Concrete Leveling to Home
LRE designed a plan that consisted of a flowable fill product around the exterior of the home. This product filled in the voids and allowed for stabilization to the foundation so continued renovations could be completed.
Flowable Fill and PolyLevel Injection at the Site
Flowable fill, a liquid product that cures over time, was used around the perimeter of the home in order to fill the massive voids caused from washout. Once the product cured, PolyLevel, a two-part expandable foam, was injected under the home to compact underlying soils and add to the stabilization.
Stabilization of Washed Out Soils
Once the flowable fill and PolyLevel was installed to this home, the foundation was stabilized atop compacted soils. This solution was necessary for the homeowner to be able to rebuild after significant storm damage.
