Pavers Removed for Installation
In order to start the project, LRE had to remove parts of the concrete and brick pavers to lay the necessary pipe for the new drainage system.
New Pipe Installed
The new pipe is put into place around the front and side of the home as a first step in the new drainage system installation.
Pipe Installed to Gutters
Many times gutters are installed incorrectly, or don't channel the water where it should go. LRE can fix faulty gutter systems or create new ones where needed, as shown in this photo.
Catch Basin Installation
A catch basin is installed underground where the gutter has stopped in order to continue to allow the water to flow away from the home's foundation.
Pipe Installation for Proper Drainage
Many feet of new pipe is installed, creating a system that allows water to flow easily away from the home and out into the yard or street where it belongs.
New Drainage System in Place
Once the new drainage system is in place, everything is buried underground and hardly noticeable from above. LRE takes pride in carefully keeping every job site clean.
Buried Drains
What is commonly called Pop-up Drains are in place, which allow the water to flow up and out of the newly laid pipe that is buried underground. This whole drainage system will protect this home from future flooding when it rains.
Catch Basin Installation
A catch basin is essentially a box that is placed in the ground near areas of standing water to properly drain the water and protect the yard from flooding.
