Back Porch Before Channel Drain Installation
Before the installation of the new drainage system, the back porch of the home had encountered flooding issues. The original downspout from the gutters above had directed a substantial amount of rainwater around the foundation below.
Channel Drain Trench Excavation
The installation of the channel drain around the back porch by the LRE team begins with the removal of the pavers and excavation of the soil to establish a suitable placement for the system.
Channel Drain Placement
The channel drain is placed in the excavated trench to allow for excess rainwater to be collected and removed from around the foundation.
Complete Channel Drain Installation
The channel drain has been successfully installed, effectively addressing the flooding in the area. The downspout from above has now been redirected to channel rainwater down to the newly installed channel drain below.
French Drain Installation
The LRE team installs an EZ-Flow French Drain system around a corner of the home to divert water away from the residence and prevent pooling around the foundation.
Drainage Pipe Installation
To direct the collected rainwater from the channel and French Drain away from the home, a drainage pipe is installed beneath the surface of the yard. This pipe connects to a pop-up relief drain positioned at the far end of the property.
Complete Drainage Pipe Installation
The drainage pipe system has been successfully installed and connected to a pop-up relief drain away from the home. The system is carefully concealed with sod to allow for a seamless appearance.
