Detached Brick Columns
The settling of the concrete front porch has led to the detachment of the brick columns from the roof above. If not addressed, there is a high likelihood of the columns falling over and the roof collapsing.
Roof and Column Separation
A significant gap has developed between the brick columns and the roof above as a result of the settling concrete porch below.
Soil Erosion
A substantial amount of soil erosion has occurred beneath the front porch, resulting in the development of large voids and causing the concrete above to sink. A bottle jack was previously installed as a temporary measure, but it proved to be ineffective.
PolyLevel Application
PolyLevel has been injected underneath the concrete slabs to fill the voids and lift the concrete back to an even level. Any excess PolyLevel foam that escapes from the perimeter will be trimmed and removed before it dries.
Column and Roof Gaps Closed
After the successful application of the PolyLevel solution, the concrete porch has been elevated and stabilized. As a result, the brick columns have been restored to their original positions, effectively closing the previously visible gaps.
