Backyard Flood Zone
The homeowner had reported significant flooding in the backyard of his home and had resorted to using cinder blocks around the perimeter as a temporary solution to redirect the water away from the pool.
Pool Deck Flood Zone
Due to inadequate drainage and improper grading of the surrounding yard, this section of the homeowner's pool deck would suffer from substantial flooding, exerting additional pressure on the home's foundation.
Downspout Washout
The excessive runoff from the home's downspouts had led to significant flooding, as the water accumulated in these areas without any proper diversion.
French Drain Installation
The LRE team initiates the installation of the EZ Flow French drain system by excavating a trench of the correct size and then carefully positioning the drain into place.
Complete French Drain Installation
The EZ Flow French drain system has been fully installed, positioned just below the surface of the yard where it will gather rainwater and channel it to a pop-up relief drain located at the end of the property.
Pop-up Relief Drains
Pop-up relief drains have been installed at the far ends of the homeowner's property to discharge the collected rainwater away from the home.
Burried Downspout
The downspouts have now been directly connected to the underground drain pipe system, ensuring that the water collected from the roof's gutter system will be directed out to the pop-up relief drains.
Pool Deck Channel Drain
The LRE team has expertly installed a new, robust 4" channel drain to efficiently collect rainwater on the pool deck and redirect it to the underground drain pipe. From there, the water will be discharged through the pop-up relief drains, ensuring it is directed away from the home.
