Pool Deck Foundation Settlement
The homeowner grew understandably concerned when they noticed their pool deck's foundation appeared to be shifting, indicating that it had been affected by soil settlement.
Pool Deck Exterior Wall Cracks
Significant cracking on the exterior walls of the homeowner's pool deck was a very clear sign that settlement damage had taken place.
Helical Pier Placement
After the LRE team determines the exact location for the placement of each helical pier around the foundation, they will then proceed to excavate the appropriate amount of soil and position each pier in preparation for installation.
Installation of Helical Piers
Through the use of specialized equipment, the LRE team begins driving the helical piers deep into the ground below the foundation until stronger, more load-bearing soil capacities are reached.
Complete Helical Pier Installation
Once the helical piers have reached the proper soil capacities, they are then bracketed to the below and against the foundation footing. From here, they will stabilize the foundation by transferring its weight to the deeper load-bearing strata and will attempt to lift it back to its original position.
Worksite Cleanup
The final yet crucial step in the LRE team's helical pier installation process is concealing the piers and cleaning up the worksite for the homeowner.
