Exterior Wall Crack
Upon noticing significant cracks developing in the walls, the homeowner became concerned about their foundation's condition.
Stair-step Cracking
A very common sign of foundation settlement is the appearance of stair-step cracking patterns in the walls of a home.
Helical Pier Installation Preparation
The LRE team begins the foundation stabilization process by first removing soil from the designated locations for each helical pier. The piers are then positioned correctly to prepare for installation.
Installation of Helical Piers
Through the use of specialized equipment, the helical piers are driven deep into the ground beneath the foundation until competent soil capacities are reached.
Complete Helical Pier Installation
After the piers have reached the appropriate depths, they are then bracketed underneath and against the foundation footing to provide permanent stabilization. From this point, an attempt can be made to lift the foundation back to its proper position.
Concealment of Helical Piers
Once the stabilization process has been completed, a crucial step performed by the LRE team is cleaning up the worksite and concealing the piers with the previously removed soil.
