Crawl Space Before Encapsulation
Before the installation of the CleanSpace system, the crawl space beneath the home was a damp environment, lacking any systems to regulate moisture and protect against damage.
Crawl Space Moisture Buildup
The inspection conducted by an LRE Design Specialist revealed an excessive amount of moisture buildup in the crawl space.
Crawl Space Moisture Damage
Moisture accumulation in the crawl space had caused the metal brackets supporting the wooden floor joists to rust. Over time, the floor joists themselves would likely have rotted out, causing structural instability if no interventions had been taken.
Crawl Space Drainage Matting
Drainage matting is placed on the floor of the crawl space to provide a channel for flooding water to be directed to a sump pump and drainage system.
CleanSpace Crawl Space Liner
A waterproof plastic liner is installed to cover the entire crawl space and protect it against moisture penetration and damage.
Wrapped Piers
The support piers in the crawl space are wrapped with the CleanSpace waterproof plastic liner to protect against moisture damage.
CleanSpace Sump Pump
To aid in draining flooding water in the crawl space, a proprietary sump pump system is installed as part of the CleanSpace system.
CleanSpace Dehumidifier
To maintain clean and dry air in the crawl space throughout the year, a specialized dehumidifier is installed as part of the CleanSpace system.
