Leaks in Foundation
Shifting soils and erosion at this home caused small cracks and water intrusion through the foundation over time. LRE was able to not only identify the problem, but design the perfect solution to remedy this problem.
LRE Installs Helical Piers
LRE's team member carefully monitors the installation of helical piers near the foundation of this home. Helical piers have the ability to compact loose and shifting soils as well as lift and stabilize a home.
Helical Piers Drilled into Ground
Once all helical piers are in place, they are cut off just at the ground level so a bracket can be installed on top. These brackets attach to the home's footer, becoming a permanent fixture to the home.
Helical Piers Set in Place
Helical piers can be placed around the entire exterior of a home, or just on one side, depending upon the nature of the remediation plan. They are relatively small and can be placed incredibly close to the foundation and surrounding exterior fixtures.
Bracket Attachment to Helical Pier
One of the final steps in this remediation plan is to attach galvanized steel brackets to the post and affix it to the footer of the foundation. This permanent fixture is buried completely underground once the job is finished, leaving no one the wiser that work has been completed here.
