Photo Album: Repairing Crawl Space Support in St. Petersburg, Florida
After recently purchasing his new home in St. Petersburg, Florida, Michael was shocked to find many areas inside the house where the floors felt very unstable. Although an inspection had reportedly been conducted, this discovery was quite surprising. He knew the crawl space below needed to be inspected, so he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. One of our expert Design Specialists conducted a thorough inspection of the crawl space and found that many of the wooden floor joists had rotted out and splintered. In addition, the original block piers in the crawl space had become insufficient with providing adequate support for the floor joists. After repairing and replacing some of the support joists, our team replaced the support originally provided by the piers with our state-of-the-art SmartJack system in key areas of the crawl space. Following the completion of the work by our team, the floors in Michael’s home are now completely level and permanently stabilized, allowing him to finally enjoy living in his new home with peace of mind.
