Exposed Foundation Footer
The foundation footer of the homeowner's garage had become exposed, and small cracks had begun to form, clearly indicating that the underlying soil had settled.
Installing Helical Piers
After the location for each pier has been determined, the LRE team excavates soil and begins installing the helical piers deep into the soil below the foundation.
Complete Helical Pier Installation
Once the appropriate depths for each helical pier have been reached in the soil below, the piers are bracketed underneath and against the foundation.
Permanent Foundation Stabilization Solution
The helical piers are mechanically driven deep into the soil beneath the foundation until they reach stronger, load-bearing soil layers. Once the appropriate soil capacities have been achieved, the helical piers will transfer the weight of the home to these stronger soil layers, providing permanent stabilization to the foundation.
Concealing Helical Piers
As a final and crucial step, the LRE team conceals the helical piers with the previously excavated soil, ensuring a clean and seamless appearance for the homeowner.
