Inadequate Crawl Space Support
Upon close examination of the crawl space, the support structures previously put in place had proven to be inadequate in supporting the home's floor joists.
Makeshift Supports
The previous homeowners had installed makeshift supports in the crawl space to stabilize the home's floors. However, these stopgap measures proved inadequate and posed a safety risk for the home's residents.
Installation of SmartJack Footer and Base Plate
The LRE team begins the SmartJack installation process by first digging the footers to the appropriate depths and filling the space with a solid, settlement-resistant base. The base plates for each SmartJack are then placed on top of the footers.
SmartJack System Fully Installed
The SmartJacks have been cut to size and positioned on the previously installed footers, providing the wooden support joists with durable and permanent stabilization.
Permanent Crawl Space Stabilization
The SmartJacks installed by the LRE team are made of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel and are engineered to withstand soil settlement, providing a permanent and reliable solution for crawl space stabilization.
