Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation and Stabilization in Mount Dora, Florida

Kimberly recently purchased a historic 19th-century home in Mount Dora, Florida, and wanted to begin renovations, starting with the crawl space beneath the house. She sought to enhance the support for the home’s floors and encapsulate the crawl space to protect it from moisture damage. Kimberly reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for an inspection and to design a comprehensive solution to address these needs. Upon conducting a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist found that many of the original block piers in the crawl space had deteriorated, leading to insufficient support for the floor joists above.   To resolve this, we created a customized plan to provide the floor joists with durable and permanent stabilization using our SmartJack system. In addition, the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System would be installed to ensure long-term protection against moisture. After reviewing the plan with Kimberly, our team implemented these solutions, fully renovating the crawl space and giving her historic home the stable support it requires. Kimberly can now enjoy her home with peace of mind, knowing it’s prepared to endure safely for many more years.
