Crawl Space Before Encapsulation
Upon inspection by the LRE Design Specialist, the crawl space was found to be excessively damp, lacking any proper system to manage or remove moisture.
Sump Pump Installation
As part of the crawl space encapsulation system, a sump pump is installed to redirect any water that enters the crawl space to an exterior drainage system.
Drainage Matting Installation
The LRE team installs drainage matting across the crawl space floor beneath the CleanSpace liner to create an effective channel that directs any flooding water to the sump pump and the exterior drainage system.
CleanSpace Moisture Barrier Installation
The CleanSpace moisture barrier is installed to cover every inch of the crawl space, effectively preventing moisture from penetrating the wooden structural supports and inhibiting the growth of mold and mildew.
Wrapping Crawl Space Piers
The crawl space's block piers are also wrapped with the CleanSpace moisture barrier to protect against moisture damage.
Crawl Space Dehumidifier
An integral component of the CleanSpace system, a proprietary, specialized dehumidifier is installed in the crawl space to maintain clean, dry air throughout the year.
EverLast Crawl Space Door
To provide an extra layer of protection, the LRE team installs the EverLast Crawl Space Door at the entryway, creating an airtight seal that effectively prevents moisture, humidity, and pests from entering.
