Photo Album: Stabilizing Crawl Space Support of Historic Home in Bunnell, Florida

Paula, from Bunnell, Florida, owns a historic 120-year-old home with a crawl space that required repairs after she noticed unstable areas in the floors inside her home. We sent our Design Specialist to perform a full home inspection, and upon examining the crawl space, they discovered that several of the block piers supporting the floor joists had settled and deteriorated. This lack of sturdy support had caused many of the floor joists to sag and splinter, creating a lack of stability for the home’s floors. A comprehensive plan was created to repair some of the floor joists and provide them with durable and permanent stabilization with our SmartJack system. After presenting the plan to Paula, our team went to work installing the SmartJack system, successfully reinforcing the home’s crawl space support. After the installation, Paula expressed her gratitude for our team’s work, knowing her home's foundation is secure for many more years to come.
