Our Design Specialist conducted a full home inspection and determined that the soil beneath Ruth’s home had settled over time, leading to the foundation gradually sinking. This was evident in the hairline cracks on the exterior walls and noticeable gaps between the floors and walls inside her home. To address these issues, a customized plan was created to stabilize the foundation permanently using our helical pier system and to prevent water intrusion by installing an EZ Flow French drain system around the affected perimeter. After reviewing the plan with Ruth, our production team installed each helical pier deep into the ground, transferring the weight of the home to stable soil layers and effectively stabilizing the foundation. The team then placed the EZ Flow French drain system within a trench above the concealed piers to efficiently redirect pooling rainwater away from her home. With the project completed, Ruth now has peace of mind knowing her home is both permanently stabilized and well-protected against future water intrusion and settlement damage.
