Frank Vitale, who served nearly 20 years as LRE's GM, will remain involved with the company.
BROOKSVILLE, Florida – LRE Foundation Repair announced today that Zach Gidley has been appointed as the new General Manager. Gidley will succeed Frank Vitale and assume responsibilities, effective immediately.
Vitale, who spent nearly 20 years serving as LRE’s General Manager and played an integral role in establishing the family-owned and operated contractor as one of Florida’s leading foundation repair experts, is leaving LRE to join the Thrasher Partner group, which owns LRE as well as a handful of other foundation contractors around the country.
While he is no longer involved in the day-to-day operations, Vitale will continue to work with Gidley, LRE, and the company’s Leadership Team in his role as a GM Leadership Coach with Thrasher Partners. Vitale remains the license holder for the company.
“This announcement obviously brings mixed emotions for me,” Vitale said. “For the past two decades, I have poured my heart and soul into LRE and the best employees, customers, and industry friends a GM could ask for. We’ve been blessed to find and sustain success by doing things the right way. The opportunity with Thrasher Partners affords me the chance to continue to work with LRE while helping other like-minded foundation contractors around the country follow similar blueprints for success. Zach is the right man for this job and will do great things as GM for LRE.”
Gidley, who worked intimately with Vitale over the past two years while serving as a Branch Manager for LRE, will oversee the foundation contractor’s entire operation, which currently has offices in Brooksville and Largo, and plans to open additional workplaces around the state of Florida over the next three years.
“I have learned so much from Frank and obviously have huge shoes to fill,” Gidley said. “I’m blessed to lead this company, which is full of humble, hungry, and smart workers. While I plan to grow into a great GM, my main goal is to continue to be the best leader and teammate I can be to our 120 employees. The best thing I can do to honor Frank is to operate our company with the same heart, passion, customer-first mindset, work ethic, and integrity he consistently did.”
Before joining LRE, Gidley earned his Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State. He’s no stranger to the Thrasher Partners. He previously interned with Foundation Supportworks, an internationally recognized manufacturer that is also owned by the Thrasher family.
The decision to have Vitale assist other Thrasher Partner contractors while Gidley takes on his role at LRE was not made lightly. The confidence in Gidley's abilities and shared qualities with Vitale made it a win-win situation for all parties involved.
