Auger Cast Project - Parking Garage & Building Construction
Challenge
A large parking garage with a building at the top of it was set to be constructed in downtown Sarasota. The soil conditions called for underground support. In addition to additional load capacities needing to be achieved, the worksite featured extremely tight access, which could be a challenge for large equipment. Weather was also an issue with Hurricane Hermine producing extremely rainy and windy conditions in the area at the same time the pre-construction work was set to be performed.
