Unstable Soil Conditions
Inadequate drainage around a pool deck can cause water to pool or accumulate in certain areas. This can saturate the soil, increase hydrostatic pressure, and ultimately lead to soil erosion and sinking, as shown in this yard.
Addressing the Cause of Cracks
Addressing the underlying causes of pool deck sinking in Florida is essential to prevent further damage and ensure the safety and stability of the structure. Utilizing solutions like PolyLevel, LRE can help mitigate these issues and extend the lifespan of your pool deck.
Pool worksite is Prepped
After the initial assessment, LRE preps the area and starts the project by drilling small dime-sized injection holes strategically placed into the concrete slab to serve as access points for injecting the PolyLevel foam beneath the surface.
Stabilizing the Pool Deck
The two-part polyurethane foam is mixed and injected through the pre-drilled holes to help solidify and strengthen soils beneath the concrete slab. The expanding foam fills the voids, compacts the soil, and lifts the slab back to its original position. The small drill holes are filled in and smoothed out for a clean finish upon the job's completion.
