During the inspection, the LRE Design Specialist discovered that the crawl space lacked a proper moisture regulation system, resulting in a damp environment susceptible to moisture damage and mold growth.
Installing Drainage Matting
The LRE team begins the CleanSpace system installation by laying drainage matting across the crawl space floor. This matting directs any flooding water to a perimeter drain, effectively preventing pooling and ensuring proper water management within the space.
CleanSpace Moisture Barrier
Once the drainage matting is in place, the LRE team seals the entire crawl space with the CleanSpace moisture barrier. This barrier effectively protects the area from moisture penetration, ensuring a dry environment and reducing the risk of mold growth and structural damage.
Crawl Space Dehumidifier
The CleanSpace system includes a specialized proprietary dehumidifier designed to keep the air in the crawl space clean and dry throughout the year. This ensures a healthier environment by effectively reducing humidity levels, preventing mold growth, and maintaining optimal air quality in the crawl space.
EverLast Crawl Space Door
As an added benefit, the LRE team installs the EverLast crawl space door at the entryway, creating an airtight, waterproof seal. This helps prevent outside humid air and pests from entering the crawl space, further enhancing moisture control and ensuring a healthier environment beneath the home.
