Eroded Foundation
Washed out soils allowed the foundation to be exposed in areas around the home. This was breeding ground for water intrusion and mold growth.
Excavating Around Home
LRE excavated a carefully designed path where buried materials would go. This home needed a full home drainage system that would move water quickly away from the foundation.
Connecting Underground Pipes
The "pipe pathway" included the connection of the downspout, sump pump, French drain, and yards of buried pipe in a specially designed water diversion system.
French Drain
Complementing other drainage materials was the installation of a French drain - a perforated pipe surrounded by gravel. This drain would capture and redirect water away from the foundation, further safeguarding the home from potential water damage.
Drainage Materials Installed
The cornerstone of the new system was the sump pump, strategically placed in the lowest point to actively pump out any accumulated water, preventing it from reaching vulnerable areas of the home.
Pipe System Installation
To ensure the seamless operation of the system, a network of pipes was installed, creating a cohesive and efficient water diversion mechanism. LRE carefully selected high-quality materials designed to withstand the test of time and the unpredictable nature of water intrusion.
New Drainage System Buried
The new drainage system would no longer be visible once installed and buried. LRE leaves the worksite better than the way they found it.
Catch Basin Installed
The new drainage system left this yard looking pristine and dry. The installed catch basin assisted with water flow out to the street.
