Drainage Solutions Photo Album: New Drainage Solution for Flooded Garage in Tampa, Florida
Water flooding into the garage of Jesus's home in Tampa, Florida, caused efflorescence to form on the interior walls, leading him to seek a reliable drainage system. He reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, who conducted a thorough inspection to design an effective solution to prevent further water intrusion. One of our expert Design Specialists visited his property, carefully assessed the situation, and developed a comprehensive plan for a complete drainage system.
The plan included installing an EZ Flow French drain along the perimeter walls outside the garage to collect excess rainwater and divert it to a pop-up relief drain via an underground drainage pipe. Additionally, a channel drain will be installed in the concrete where the walkway and driveway meet to help manage and remove pooling water. The downspouts from the gutter system would also be connected to the underground drainage pipe to prevent water from accumulating around the home.
After presenting the plan to Jesus, our team began implementing the system, successfully protecting his home from future water intrusion. Now, Jesus can rest assured that his home's foundation is safeguarded against flooding from Florida’s heavy rainstorms.
