Chimney Stabilized and Restored in Brooksville, FL

Jere H. and his son noticed the chimney of their home was tilting away and detaching from the house. They did all they could to try to secure it, but had no luck. Jere H. called our team at LRE Foundation Repair in hopes of a solution as he wished to keep the original structure of this old Brooksville, Florida home. We inspected the property and noted poor soil conditions were the cause of the massive movement. The solution? Helical piers. Helical piers are galvanized steel piers anchored into the ground compacting and stabilizing the surrounding soil. Once the piers were deep enough, they were attached to the chimney and hydraulically adjusted to lift the chimney back into place. This system permanently stabilized the structure leaving this homeowner and his family relieved that they could keep their home intact for years to come.
