Foundation Repair Photo Album: Foundation Repair in Palm Harbor, Florida
Sheree’s home in Palm Harbor, Florida, had been severely impacted by flooding from hurricanes Helene and Milton, leading to the development of numerous cracks in various sections of the home’s walls. Fearing that the stability of her home’s foundation had been compromised, she reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to request a free inspection. Following a full home inspection by our Design Specialist, it was discovered that the heavy flooding had caused the underlying soil beneath the foundation to settle.
A comprehensive plan was created to permanently stabilize the foundation and lift it back into place with our helical pier system. After reviewing the plan with Sheree, our team began the foundation stabilization process by carefully installing each helical pier deep into the ground, transferring the weight of the home to stronger, more stable soil layers below the surface.
Upon completion, Sheree can now feel confident knowing that her home’s foundation is safe, secure, and permanently protected from future settlement issues.
Interior Wall Cracks
The homeowner had noticed several cracks appearing along the interior walls of their garage, a clear indication that the foundation had experienced settlement damage.
Horizontal Wall Cracks
Horizontal wall cracks extending from the door frame further confirmed that the home's foundation had settled.
Installing Helical Piers
The LRE team initiates the helical piers installation process by first removing sections of the concrete garage floor and carefully driving each pier deep below the surface.
Complete Helical Pier Installation
The helical piers have been successfully installed and secured to the foundation's footer, transferring the weight of the home to the stronger soil layers below, effectively stabilizing the foundation.
Replacing Concrete
After the helical pier system has been fully installed, the LRE team fills the cut-out sections of the garage floor with freshly poured concrete to carefully conceal each pier.
