This Dunedin, Florida crawlspace is almost unrecognizable after LRE Foundation Repair completed this transformation using its Crawlspace Encapsulation and SmartJack system. The condo association called LRE after receiving numerous complaints of sagging floors and worries about structural damage. LRE thoroughly inspected all units and got to work stabilizing the crawlspace that had been compromised from excess exposure to the elements and loose soil conditions. LRE's Crawlspace Encapsulation involves covering every square inch of the crawlspace with materials designed to keep outside elements totally separate from what's inside the home. LRE used a variety of moisture barriers, new insulation, and dehumidifiers to control the air quality in the environment and completely ward off future damage. In addition, LRE's SmartJack system uses galvanized steel posts, cut to size and attached to the new support system, allowing for stability and releveling of the foundation. Once this massive project was complete, the association and its residents were happy with the results and could rest easy in their newly stabilized homes.

Elizabeth’s concrete walkway at her home in Dunedin, Florida, had become uneven, with one of the slabs noticeably settling and creating a significant trip hazard. Our Design Specialist visited her home, carefully examined the concrete, and determined that the underlying soil had settled, causing the slab to sink. Our team quickly stepped in and brought the sunken concrete slab back to level utilizing our PolyLevel solution. The trip hazard in Elizabeth’s walkway has been completely removed, and the concrete is now permanently stabilized, alleviating any concerns about potential injuries.

Maureen R. was experiencing severe damage to her New Port Richey, Florida home and decided to call LRE Foundation Repair once moisture started infiltrating the cracks inside her house. LRE completed a full home inspection, working with engineers to test the soils underneath the home. They discovered this over 50-year-old home was sitting on soils compromised by buried, decaying organics that affected its strength to support the home's foundation. LRE designed a solution that consisted of helical pier installation to the inside and around the outside of the home. These galvanized steel piers were carefully drilled into the soils at appropriate locations, compacting and strengthening the areas. Each pier was attached to the home's foundation with brackets allowing the load to be shifted from the unstable soils onto the pier system. Once the project was complete, this homeowner was more than pleased to see many of the cracks diminished and could rest easy knowing her home is now stabilized permanently. 

Frances S. started becoming anxious when she noticed her elevated concrete driveway sinking. She's lived in her New Port Richey, Florida home for many years and never experienced this before. She called on LRE Foundation Repair for help. Upon inspection, it was clear natural erosion and soil washout was the cause of Frances's sinking driveway. PolyLevel and NexusPro are the two products that make up the concrete protection system that we used to restore Frances's driveway.  PolyLevel concrete lifting foam is used to lift and stabilize, while NexusPro is used to seal joins to eliminate any water filtration. By pairing the two, we were able to lift Frances's driveway back level and ensure permanent protection and stabilization. 

Douglas requested assistance from LRE Foundation Repair to help design an effective drainage solution for his New Port Richey, Florida home. Persistent flooding around the home had resulted in regular water intrusion indoors, and he realized that he needed to address this issue before further damage to his foundation could occur. Following a thorough inspection of the home by an LRE Design Specialist, a plan was devised to clear much of the vegetation around the flooded area of the home and install a French Drain to collect excess rainwater and divert it away from the home. The LRE team proceeded to clear the excess plant growth and installed the French Drain, effectively resolving the persistent flooding issue around the home. Douglas can now rest assured knowing that his home is prepared to withstand Florida's heavy rainstorms without the worry of flooding.
