Pam, from Orlando, Florida, had been noticing a persistent musky odor throughout her home. Uncertain of the source of the odor, she attempted to replace components of her AC system, but the issue persisted. After finally having a contractor inform her that the smell was coming from the crawl space below her home, she called LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. An LRE Design Specialist inspected her crawl space and found excess moisture accumulation in the area. The LRE team implemented the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to manage moisture and protect the crawl space from future potential damage. Pam was pleased with the result, as the odor in her home was eliminated and her crawl space was now protected from moisture damage.
Zachary S. had a basement area of his Orlando, Florida home that continually had water intrusion issues and musty odors started penetrating his home. He called LRE Foundation Repair to help remediate his problems and make his house odor-free. After an inspection was completed, LRE determined faulty drainage around the exterior of his home was mainly to blame and designed the perfect solution to fix Zachary's problems once and for all. LRE installed CleanSpace Encapsulation technology which consists of vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment to dry out the space and eliminate odors. LRE also added a drainage system by installing pipe and pop-up drains to divert water away from the basement and the home. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was more than happy with his spotless, odor-free basement and new drainage system that will eliminate water intrusion for good.
Mary from Orlando, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to report that water was intruding into the sunroom next to her pool deck. She previously had a drainage system installed that proved to be ineffective, so she asked us to help design an alternative solution. One of our Design Specialists visited Mary’s home to inspect the issue and developed a plan to install an EZ Flow French drain system along the sunroom's exterior walls. This system would work to collect and redirect water to a relief drain away from the home. With Mary’s approval, our production team soon stepped in and began installing the French drain by removing the appropriate amount of soil in order to position the system below the surface. Once the system was in place, we carefully concealed the French drain to provide a seamless appearance. Mary’s sunroom now benefits from an effective solution to prevent further water intrusion, much to her relief.
Steve, a homeowner in Orlando, Florida, owns a 100-year-old historic home with a crawl space that had endured years of extensive moisture damage, resulting in persistent mold and mildew issues. Seeking a lasting solution, Steve contacted LRE Foundation Repair. Our team addressed the problem by sealing the crawl space with the CleanSpace™ Crawl Space Encapsulation System. For added protection, we installed an EverLast™ Crawl Space Door at the entrance, creating an airtight, waterproof barrier to keep out humid air, pests, and rodents. Constructed from durable, inorganic plastics and foams, these doors provide an exceptional defense against moisture and pest intrusion. Now, Steve’s historic home is safeguarded with the protection it needs to maintain a dry and secure crawl space for years to come.
Property owners of a commercial building in Orlando, Florida, contacted LRE Foundation Repair about a severely uneven and cracked section of a concrete sidewalk on their property, which posed a significant trip hazard. In need of a reliable solution, they scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists. After carefully examining the damage, our specialist discovered that a substantial amount of soil beneath the sidewalk had washed away, causing the concrete to crack and sink. To repair the sidewalk, our team implemented our Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, our team leveled and stabilized the concrete with PolyLevel. Next, the crack that had formed along the surface was sealed with NexusPro to prevent water from seeping below the concrete. Upon completion, the concrete sidewalk is now fully leveled and stabilized, effectively eliminating the trip hazard.
