Ken planned to move into his new home in San Antonio, FL, but needed to address the severe damage that had previously developed in the concrete driveway. Armadillos had burrowed their way underneath the driveway, creating large voids in the soil and causing portions of the concrete to sink. Fully aware that the driveway was not safe to drive on, Ken reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. The LRE team utilized our PolyLevel Solution to not only bring the concrete slabs back to an even, safe level but also fill the void underneath and permanently stabilize the driveway. Ken was thrilled with the assistance provided by LRE and can now feel safe using the driveway of his new home.
A section of the concrete sidewalk in front of Barbara’s home in Port Richey, Florida, had developed into a dangerous trip hazard, and she knew she had to get it fixed before any serious injuries could occur. After calling us at LRE Foundation Repair, we sent one of our Design Specialists to inspect the sidewalk and help provide a solution. Upon careful examination, the specialist found that one of the concrete slabs had sunk into the ground, creating an uneven surface with the adjacent slab. They diagnosed soil settlement as the cause and created a plan to implement our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to fully repair and stabilize the sidewalk. First, our team injected PolyLevel directly underneath the sunken slab to lift it back to its proper level and stabilize the underlying soil. Next, we sealed the control joint separating the two slabs with NexusPro to prevent water intrusion below the sidewalk. Upon completion, the trip hazard was completely eliminated, and the sidewalk was fully leveled and permanently stabilized, alleviating Barbara’s concerns and providing her peace of mind.
In Port Richey, Florida, Nikolaos had noticed significant cracks forming along the exterior walls of one corner of his home, raising concerns about the stability of his foundation. To address the issue, we sent our Design Specialist to perform a full home inspection and assess the damage. The inspection revealed that the soil beneath the affected corner had settled significantly, causing the foundation to sink and resulting in the visible wall cracks.
To resolve the problem, our Design Specialist proposed a plan to stabilize the foundation and lift it back into its original position using our helical pier system. Nikolaos approved the plan, and our team got to work, carefully installing each helical pier deep into stable soil beneath the home. Once in place, the system successfully stabilized and lifted the foundation, closing the cracks in the walls.
Thanks to this permanent solution, Nikolaos can now rest easy, knowing his home is secure, with the once-worrisome cracks fully repaired.

Next, the crack was filled and sealed with NexusPro to prevent water intrusion and enhance the concrete’s visual appeal.
