A homeowner residing in Lakeland, Florida reached out to LRE after noticing the weight of their carport was causing the driveway slab to crack and settle. LRE used their PolyLevel foam to inject underneath the slab to raise the settled concrete and strengthen and stabilize the soil underneath. Rest assured, this homeowner's driveway is now permanently stabilized and can sustain the weight of the carport without worrying about future movement.
Tom N. of Lakeland, Florida needed to fix the sinking concrete slab for his tenants, as they had concerns of tripping hazards. He decided to call LRE Foundation Repair for a possible solution. LRE conducted a thorough inspection to the property and noted high-volume areas of erosion and soil washout that had accelerated the process of the sinking concrete slabs around the home. To rectify this problem, LRE utilized PolyLevel, a concrete lifting and releveling service for uneven concrete slabs. This product is made of a polymer-type foam material that when applied, expands to fill voids and lift concrete, and solidifies for compaction and soil stabilization. Upon the completion of this project, the property owner was thrilled to see the concrete gaps closed and the walkways even and level once more.
Todd F. contacted LRE to assess the severity of the settlement occurring at his home in Lakeland, Florida. Todd was concerned about the cracks throughout his home, most noticeably on the exterior walls and interior floor tiles. A whole home inspection was conducted, and it was determined by our foundation experts that unstable soils were causing the problem. To remedy the issue, our specialist designed a solution to stabilize the foundation from further settlement and lift the side of the home where settlement was most severe. Galvanized steel helical piers were installed by our trained crews around the perimeter of the home. Helical piers transfer the weight of the home from the unstable soil to the piers. Our team was thrilled to be able to help Todd permanently stabilize his home for good while significantly minimizing those large cracks.
Scott M. from Lakeland, Florida noticed sinking sections of his driveway over the past few years and decided to take action. LRE conducted an inspection and identified the issue: the sloping ground had caused substantial erosion of the surrounding soils, leading to the sinking slab. To address this problem, LRE utilized PolyLevel, a polyurethane material injected underneath the concrete slab. PolyLevel expands and raises uneven concrete surfaces. After leveling and smoothing all sections of the driveway, LRE cleaned up the work area, leaving Scott M. with a beautifully level and stable driveway that will last for years to come.
Alyson’s concrete driveway at her home in Lakeland, Florida, developed a severe tripping hazard after a section settled into the ground, creating an uneven surface. She called us at LRE Foundation Repair for help, and we sent one of our Design Specialists out to her home to conduct a full home inspection. Upon identifying soil settlement as the cause for the concrete to settle, a plan was created to have our team lift, level, and stabilize the sunken slab with PolyLevel. With Alyson’s approval, our team stepped in and injected the PolyLevel solution directly beneath the driveway, successfully leveling the concrete and removing the trip hazard. Alyson no longer has to worry about potential injuries or vehicle damage from the tripping hazard, as her concrete driveway is now fully leveled and supported with long-lasting stabilization.
