Ann L. was dealing with persistent water pooling around her patio. During our inspection, we discovered that poor grading and inadequate drainage were the root causes. To fix this, we installed a channel drain, also known as a trench drain, in the patio after removing a few pavers. This drain now directs water away from the patio and into the yard. The project was completed quickly, and Ann loved the result—her patio not only looks great but stays dry, solving the issue for good.
Thomas from Winter Haven, Florida, needed repairs for his concrete front porch after a section had noticeably settled, creating a significant tripping hazard. Seeking a reliable solution, he reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, and we quickly scheduled a free inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists.
Upon assessing the damage, our specialist identified soil erosion beneath the porch as the cause of the settlement. To restore the porch, we proposed using our PolyLevel solution to lift, level, and permanently stabilize the concrete slab. After Thomas approved the plan, our team carefully injected PolyLevel beneath the porch, successfully lifting the slab back to its proper level and eliminating the trip hazard.
Thomas was thrilled with the results and grateful for our team’s work, knowing his concrete porch is now fully leveled and permanently stabilized.
Mark in Tampa, Florida, recently had a new channel drain installed in his pool deck to alleviate flooding and divert water outside of the pool cage area. However, a new issue arose when the water began pooling around the home's foundation at the point where the water was released from the channel drain. He contacted us at LRE Foundation Repair to help devise an effective solution for this flooding issue, and one of our expert Design Specialists visited his home to inspect the situation. After careful examination, the specialist devised a plan to install a catch basin at the exterior of the pool deck where the water was discharged. From there, the water would flow through an underground hard pipe and be released via a pop-up relief drain at the far end of the property. Our team promptly executed the plan, successfully implementing this new solution. Upon completion of the work, Mark was thrilled with the outcome and can now enjoy freedom from this persistent flooding issue.
Becky from Tampa, Florida, contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help with her concrete driveway, which had been damaged by tree roots. The driveway exhibited numerous cracks, and many slabs had become uneven. After a thorough home inspection by one of our expert Design Specialists, we developed a plan to repair and enhance the driveway using our Three-Part Concrete Protection System.
First, we used PolyLevel to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete by injecting it beneath the surface. Next, we sealed the cracks and joints with NexusPro to prevent water intrusion. Finally, we applied DecoShield to protect against chipping, flaking, and staining, while providing a sleek, grey translucent finish. Becky was thrilled with the results of our team's work, as her concrete driveway is now fully repaired and boasts enhanced visual appeal.
