In Port St. Lucie, Florida, Koenraad noticed his concrete walkway had sunk significantly, creating a large gap between the walkway's wall and the adjacent wall of his home. Concerned about the damage, he reached out to LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a free inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists.
Upon assessing the walkway, our specialist confirmed that soil settlement beneath the concrete was the root cause of the issue. To restore the walkway, we proposed using our PolyLevel solution to lift the sunken slab back into place and close the gap. With Koenraad’s approval, our team got to work, carefully injecting PolyLevel beneath the slab. The process successfully elevated the concrete, bringing it back to a safe, even level and effectively closing the gaps between the connecting walls.
Koenraad was thrilled with the results and now has peace of mind knowing his concrete walkway is permanently stabilized and protected from further settlement.
Cheryl and William G. were preparing to list their Port Saint Lucie, Florida home on the market, but wanted to address the sinking driveway before doing so. After scheduling a free inspection with one of our design specialists, soil washout and erosion were identified as being the culprits of the settling concrete. As washout and erosion occur, it leaves the remaining soil unstable enough to hold the weight of the concrete, causing it to sink. Our design specialist recommended our PolyLevel system to lift and re-level this driveway. PolyLevel is a fast-expanding polyurethane foam that works to solidify loose soils and fill voids, while simultaneously lifting concrete back level. Our team was pleased to be able to provide a fast and non-invasive solution to Cherly and Williams's driveway concerns, so they can get their home on the market.
John in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, had noticed an increasing number of cracks in his concrete driveway, and some sections had become uneven. Concerned that the problem would only worsen, he called us at LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a free inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists in hopes of finding a solution. Our specialist assessed the damage and confirmed that the underlying soil had eroded, causing the concrete to become uneven and crack. They informed John that our Two-Part Concrete Protection System could fully repair and stabilize his concrete driveway. With John’s approval, our skilled production team stepped in and first leveled and stabilized the concrete with PolyLevel. Next, the cracks and joints in the concrete were sealed with NexusPro to safeguard against water intrusion and enhance the driveway’s visual appeal. After the work was completed, John was thrilled with the results and can now feel at ease knowing that his concrete driveway is fully repaired and permanently stabilized.
Rick and Susan were worried about a major trip hazard that had developed in the concrete walkway that led up to the front door of their home in Odessa, Florida. A Design Specialist from LRE Foundation Repair visited their home to inspect the trip hazard and identified that soil settlement and roots from an adjacent tree had caused the concrete to sink at least three inches below ground level. The LRE team successfully leveled the concrete and effectively eliminated the trip hazard by injecting PolyLevel underneath the sunken slab. Rick and Susan experienced a sense of relief to see the trip hazard removed, providing them with peace of mind that their walkway was not only leveled but also permanently stabilized.
The concrete walkway leading to Tina’s front porch in Odessa, Florida, had developed into a significant tripping hazard. One of the concrete slabs was elevated off the surface of the ground, creating a height difference of several inches in comparison to the adjacent slab. After reaching out to LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, a Design Specialist visited Tina’s home to inspect the concrete and help devise a solution. Upon examining the walkway, the specialist found that a tree root under the concrete had caused one of the slabs to heave, lifting it above the other. Following the removal of the tree root, the LRE team stabilized the soil underneath the concrete and successfully lifted the slab back to its proper level using the PolyLevel solution. The trip hazard has been completely eliminated, and the concrete walkway is now stabilized with an even, level surface. Tina is now free from the concern of injury, with peace of mind knowing that the trip hazard is gone for good.
