Ann’s concrete walkway leading up to her home’s front door in Ocala, Florida, had gradually become uneven over time, creating significant trip hazards that needed to be addressed. After reaching out to LRE Foundation Repair and scheduling a free inspection, we sent one of our Design Specialists to her home to help provide a solution. The specialist verified that soil settlement had caused the walkway’s slabs to shift and sink, and for a permanent fix, our team implemented the Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, PolyLevel was injected directly under the concrete to lift and level the slabs. Next, our team sealed the joints with NexusPro to safeguard against water intrusion and enhance curb appeal. Ann was thrilled with the results and relieved that she could now use her walkway without fear of potential injury.

David W. called LRE concerned after noticing his front porch sinking and cracks growing larger quickly. LRE completed a full inspection of David's house located in Port Orange, FL, and determined that animal borings had significantly compromised the soil beneath his porch. To remedy David's issues, our team injected PolyLevel underneath the patio slab to strengthen and stabilize the soil. PolyLevel is a highly expandable foam material injected through very small drill holes in the concrete. As the material flows and mixes with the soil, it expands to fill all voids and starts to lift the concrete back into place. After this porch was treated, this homeowner could rest easy knowing his porch was stabilized and even, leaving only the Florida pests to deal with.
