David’s yard around his home in Valrico, Florida would constantly flood during the heavy Florida thunderstorms. Ready to put these concerns to rest, he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to help provide him with a lasting solution. Following a free inspection of David’s property, it was discovered the downspouts connected to the home’s gutter system had been flooding the surrounding areas due to a lack of adequate water diversion. To remedy this the downspouts were connected to a new underground EZ Flow French drain system that was installed by our production team. The water from the gutters will now be channeled directly to the underground drainage pipe system and out to a pop-up relief drain away from the home. David’s flooding issues are now effectively resolved, putting his concerns to rest once and for all.
Looking to replace the damaged deco drains in their concrete pool deck, a homeowner in Seminole, Florida, contacted us at LRE Foundation Repair to help provide a solution. Our Design Specialist visited their home to inspect the pool deck and discovered that the standard deco drains originally installed were heavily damaged and ineffective at adequately draining water during torrential downpours. For a more effective solution, our team replaced the damaged deco drain in the concrete with a robust channel drain capable of collecting larger volumes of rainwater and diverting it to a relief drain located further from the property. Now the homeowner can enjoy using their pool deck without the hassle of pooling rainwater.
Michael was concerned about the constant flooding taking place on the pool deck of his home in Seminole, Florida, and reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to help provide a solution. An LRE Design Specialist inspected the pool deck and developed a plan to install a comprehensive drainage system to remove the excess rainwater. The LRE team installed a 4” channel drain within the pool deck's concrete to collect rainwater and divert it away from the home through a subsurface drainage system. The water will then be released through a pop-up relief drain at the far end of the property, away from the home. After the installation, Michael's pool deck no longer experiences flooding, alleviating him of this recurring problem.

Facing recurring issues of pooling water and erosion around the backyard of his St. Petersburg, Florida home, Jeff T. recognized the pressing need for a drainage system. To address the problem, he decided to contact us at LRE Foundation Repair after a recommendation. We inspected the property and determined that the heavy rainfall was posing a potential threat to his home's foundation, and thus opted for the installation of a new trench drain, commonly referred to as a channel drain. Channel drains are useful in directing large amounts of water away from the home and out into the yard or street where it belongs. The relatively easy installation process left this homeowner more than pleased as his concerns were calmed and his home protected from any further damage.
