The owners of a commercial property in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, faced a concerning issue with one of the concrete ramps leading up to their garage. The slab had split in half and sank, rendering it unusable. They reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists to find out if the concrete ramp could be repaired. Our specialist carefully examined the concrete and discovered that a significant amount of soil underneath had washed out, creating a large void that caused the slab to break and sink. To fill the void and lift the concrete ramp back to its proper level, our team injected PolyLevel directly underneath the slab. The result was a completely even slab that is now permanently supported, stabilized, and ready for immediate use, much to the delight of the property owners.
Following several tripping incidents on their damaged concrete sidewalk, members of a church in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, contacted LRE Foundation Repair for a dependable repair solution. We sent one of our expert Design Specialists to thoroughly inspect the sidewalk and identified instability in the underlying soil as the cause of the concrete settling and cracking. To address the issue and eliminate the tripping hazards, our team implemented our Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, we injected PolyLevel beneath the sidewalk to lift and level the concrete slabs. Next, we sealed the cracks with NexusPro to prevent water from seeping beneath the concrete and to enhance the sidewalk’s curb appeal. Thanks to our team's efforts, the church members can now enjoy a fully leveled and stabilized sidewalk, free from the previous tripping hazards.
Homeowners located in Eustis, Florida contacted LRE seeking repairs on their newly purchased home. This home had an addition that had been abandoned for 40 years and the new homeowners were looking to restore the integrity of the home. LRE installed five helical piers around the perimeter of the slab to lift and permanently stabilize the slab which had settled significantly over time.
A significant tripping hazard had developed in Tom’s concrete driveway in Eustis, Florida, where two adjacent slabs had become severely uneven. Seeking a reliable repair solution, Tom asked LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. One of our expert Design Specialists visited Tom’s home and thoroughly inspected the driveway, identifying soil settlement as the root cause of the shifting and uneven concrete slabs. To level the concrete and remove the trip hazard, our team stepped in and injected PolyLevel directly underneath the concrete slabs. Tom's driveway is now fully leveled and permanently stabilized, giving him peace of mind that the tripping hazard has been completely eliminated.
