Noticing a significant gap between the ceiling and walls in her garage, Kari from Safety Harbor, Florida, became understandably concerned and reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. An expert Design Specialist conducted a full home inspection and created a plan to install interior slab helical piers to lift and stabilize the settling area of the foundation. Our team carefully drilled the piers through the interior slab and deep into the soil beneath the foundation until they reached stronger, load-bearing layers. A slab bracket was then installed around the pier, transferring the weight of the interior slab to the stronger soils below. This effectively lifted the slab back into place, closing the gap between the walls and ceiling and providing permanent stabilization. With the gap now closed and slab stabilized, Keri can now have peace of mind knowing the foundation beneath her feet is completely secured.
Todd F. contacted LRE to assess the severity of the settlement occurring at his home in Lakeland, Florida. Todd was concerned about the cracks throughout his home, most noticeably on the exterior walls and interior floor tiles. A whole home inspection was conducted, and it was determined by our foundation experts that unstable soils were causing the problem. To remedy the issue, our specialist designed a solution to stabilize the foundation from further settlement and lift the side of the home where settlement was most severe. Galvanized steel helical piers were installed by our trained crews around the perimeter of the home. Helical piers transfer the weight of the home from the unstable soil to the piers. Our team was thrilled to be able to help Todd permanently stabilize his home for good while significantly minimizing those large cracks.
Kent H. in Tampa, Florida was experiencing significant cracking to the exterior stucco of his home. With growing concerns there may be a problem, he called LRE Foundation Repair for a solution. After a thorough inspection of the home, LRE was able to determine the main cause of the foundation settlement was due to unstable soils underneath the home. To compact and stabilize the underlying soils, LRE used a two-part deep injection chemical grout. This material expands to compact the underlying soils while strengthening the area as well. LRE also installed helical piers to the side of the home in order to gain lift to the structure, closing some of the cracks in the exterior stucco. Helical piers are advanced deep into the soil and connected to the home's foundation to allow lift to occur. Once the job was complete, Kent H. was extremely pleased to see his home restored and foundation stabilized for years to come.
Richard and Patricia owned this home in Temple Terrace, Florida for many years. The back room addition of this home started settling and large cracks were forming inside on the walls and ceiling. With growing concern, they called LRE Foundation Repair for the solution. After an inspection determined loose soils were causing too much movement to the home, LRE engineered a solution by installing helical piers and injecting PolyLevel to a section of the home. Helical piers are drilled into the soil around the exterior walls using small equipment to eliminate disruption to the landscaping of the home. These piers were also able to achieve the desired lift this home needed. In addition, PolyLevel, an expandable two-part foam, was injected at the site to solidify and stabilize the soils underneath. Once completed, these homeowners were thrilled to see the cracks closed and the home stabilized for years to come.
William M. of Tampa, Florida called LRE Foundation Repair after growing concerns about his cracking pool deck and stem wall. He lived right next to an inlet and was worried about future damage. LRE completed a full inspection of the property and noted severe washout and erosion had caused the foundation to fail and got to work on a remediation program. LRE injected Polylevel, a two-part expanding foam material, into small holes around the pool deck. This material not only filled the voids left by loose, washed-out soils but also expanded to lift the sunken areas of the deck back into place. Next, LRE applied the same PolyLevel material under the stem wall, creating a more sound foundation that would eliminate future damage. Once complete, this homeowner was thrilled to have peace of mind that his pool area was stabilized and could finally rest easy knowing his problems were solved.
