Christina's back patio in Fort Myers, Florida, had significantly sunk into the ground, creating a noticeable gap between the patio and the adjacent wall of her home. After reaching out to us at LRE Foundation Repair and scheduling a free appointment, our Design Specialist visited her home to conduct a full home inspection. Upon assessing the back patio, our specialist discovered that erosion of the underlying soil had caused the concrete to settle. To lift, level, and stabilize the patio, our team utilized our PolyLevel solution by injecting it directly beneath the concrete. As a result, the gap between the wall and the patio is now closed, providing Christina with peace of mind and assurance that her concrete back patio is now completely leveled and stabilized.
Curtis in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, contacted us at LRE Foundation Repair, informing us that a section of his community's concrete sidewalk had sunken, creating a significant tripping hazard for local residents. One of our Design Specialists visited the community, inspected the concrete, and informed Curtis that the underlying soil beneath the sidewalk had eroded, causing the concrete to sink. Our team quickly stepped in to bring the concrete sidewalk back to its proper level, while also stabilizing the underlying soil using our PolyLevel solution. After completion, Curtis and the other community members were delighted and relieved to see the concrete sidewalk fully repaired, effectively eliminating the threat of tripping injuries.
After Hurricane Ian damaged the area of Sanibel, Florida, Mr. P.'s home suffered severe washout causing gaping holes under the foundation of his home. He called LRE Foundation Repair for help. Working with structural engineers, LRE was able to design a solution that included flowable fill, a fluid-like slurry grout mixture that cures, fills voids and creates a stable foundation. The material was poured around the perimeter of home filling in the necessary gaps, and once cured PolyLevel, a two-part expandable polyurethane material, was injected to the needed areas to add compaction to the loose soils below. Once his foundation was stabilized, the homeowner was pleased with the finished product and confident he could continue the rebuild to the rest of his home.
Nadean in Wellington, Florida, faced a significant trip hazard in the concrete walkway leading to her home, where two adjacent slabs had become noticeably unlevel. She reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for a reliable repair solution to address the issue and prevent potential injuries.
Following a thorough examination by our expert Design Specialist, we discovered that the underlying soil beneath one of the concrete slabs had settled, causing the slab to sink into the ground and resulting in the misalignment.
To effectively address this issue and eliminate the trip hazard, our team employed our Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, we injected PolyLevel directly beneath the settling slab to lift it and align it with the adjacent slab. Next, we sealed the joint between the two slabs with NexusPro to prevent water from seeping beneath the concrete and causing soil erosion. Upon completion, Nadean’s concrete walkway is now fully level, and the trip hazard has been completely eliminated.
