Drainage issues have always been a problem at our house for a few years now due to new construction altering the dispersion of water on our block. After attempting several solutions, including a standard french drain, we finally looked for a drainage solution we could rely on to handle the amount of water we get in Central Florida. From the first visit, I could tell these folks know their craft. They designed a custom solution, and within a few weeks we had a crew out to install new underground drains, a buried pump and EZ-Flow system. The crew was friendly, very professional, and efficient. Despite a lot of digging and stone hauling, Antonio and his crew barely left a trace -- even carefully replacing the sod. Antonio also took time to demo the drainage system with a garden hose for me and I'm almost looking forward to a torrential down pour to see this system in action. I can't recommend this service enough! We also decided to have LRE encapsulate our crawlspace and add a dehumidifier to it. Michael and that crew spent a few days in that crawlspace taking care to get it cleaned out and then sealed off with a dehumidifier. They were also very professional and friendly and as someone with a bit of claustrophobia, the fact they always had a smile on their faces when speaking with me was extra impressive! The house is already less damp feeling on cool days.

I have an older home in an historic area in Tampa that had sagging floors and needed a fair amount of foundation repair work. Needless to say, I wanted it done properly, so, I decided to get 5 companies in to quote. After receiving all the quotes and planned proposals for repairing the foundations, there was no doubt in my mind that LRE Foundation Repair was by far the best company for me to go with, for several reasons. Before they came out to access and quote, LRE mailed me an 81 page booklet on foundation problems and repairs – published by an independent company - Foundation Supportworks. This gave me a good understanding of different foundation problems and why they happen, including sagging floors - and the best way to go about fixing them. There was also great information on various jacks and piers and when to use what etc. which was invaluable to me when looking at what the other companies had proposed. The Design Specialist LRE sent out to access the situation and to give a proposed plan and quote was someone who had years of experience doing the actual work. This guy was Zac Spardello. His professionalism and customer service goes beyond the expected. He took photos, liasoned with their engineering dept before he came up with a definite planned proposal and quote. Zac took time explaining to me what was wrong and had images of everything including problem areas, and how and why they proposed fixing it in certain ways, along with the with the information I had gained from the booklet. When I compared his proposed plan to the others, it was clear that he really knew what he was talking about. Other companies had in some cases sent out Estimators who clearly had never done the actual work and it showed as they had given very generalized solutions, when I compared plans. LRE was the only co who had a combination of replacing areas of old wood plus adding additional wood as well as jacks and metal beams, along with repairing/ replacing 4 brick block columns, and redoing the subfloor in certain areas. Some companies proposed only adding wood, others only metal, and this combination of materials that LRE proposed seemed to cover all basis. Permits. LRE was ready to go with permits within about a month, and they gave me a definite starting date within days. I was told by most other companies I’d have to wait at least 6 weeks to get the permits, and one company said they didn’t need it as their solution only required jacks. Which is probably fine in some instances but in this case where I knew a fair amount of work was needed, I felt better about having permits. With LRE, everything was done to code and with engineering reports. LRE also offers a 25-year guarantee which is transferable to the new owner if the house is ever sold. They also offered a 5% discount if I signed with a certain time frame. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive, all adding up to why I chose them. In conclusion, the work was done on time and the results were even better than I expected. I was not in Tampa during this time, I was kept in the loop with updates by phone and photos. A big thank you to Zac for all his help and support, as well as Tavian the foreman, and his team who did all the work. An added bonus is that a few weeks later I got a call from a co that was going to spray the soil under the house which would take care of any termites as the soil had been disrupted with the foundation work, which was all paid for by LRE as part of their repair package.

I really enjoyed working with LRE! From the first consultation, all through the job clean up, they team was very professional and took pride in their work. Mike Guy and his crew came and out to work on my 100-year-old house using smart jacks. They were very polite even when the city I live in messed up the inspection and didn’t show up, which cost them an entire days work. They did a lot of work in very hot conditions, and in a pretty tight crawlspace. I’m very happy.

We previously had work done by another foundation company. Zac came out and inspected the work previously completed and saw how poorly they had done everything. Zac was very patient and helpful as we worked to get a refund from the other company. Without Zac's pictures and video of the installation of jacks, we would have never known what the other company did and wouldn't have had the proof to get our money back. We were quoted on this project by Frank who did an outstanding job of inspecting our house and explaining options. We also got quotes from another company and LRE not only beat their price, but their approach was a much more comprehensive solution. The office was helpful and efficient and scheduling happened without a hitch. Trace and his crew were terrific. They showed up on time, communicated with us, took the time to explain what they were doing and how it worked. They were courteous and organized and they kept a clean and tidy job site. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this crew and their leader, Trace. We were very satisfied with the results and offer our thanks for a job well done!

We just purchased this home a few months ago, and it was built in 1954. During our home inspection the inspector noticed an area of concern suggesting we have one of the foundation piers looked at by a professional. The LRE Foundation Repair representative that came out, Kurt Senft, completed a very thorough investigation under our home and in the crawlspace. Kurt hand-sketched and measured areas of concern, and found there was a slight pitch to one of the corners of the house, and absolutely no support under the beams of the master bathroom. He also noticed there were only a couple other areas that needed an I-beam installed to support between the existing piers. The crew that completed the installation and sprayed LumberKote sealer were professional technicians. The crew showed me the products being used and explained the process and blueprint of installation. They also informed me that everything under the house looked good. They did not notice any wood rot, block/cement erosion, plumbing/electrical issues. The crew also provided pictures of the work completed. The LRE crews have given me peace of mind knowing the house is secure and stable.

Mike and his team from LRE were amazing. They made sure that everything that was supposed to be done was done and that the project would make the floor more stable for many years to come. If I have anymore foundation issues in the future I hope Mike is still at LRE and I will be requesting him for the job.

They did a very good job all around. The crew leader kept us informed during the work and showed us all they had done when the job was completed. They offered us overalls if we wanted to check everything first hand and provided photos. He also answered any and all questions we had before, during and after the project work. We were extremely happy with every aspect of LRE's performance and would recommend them to anyone needing work done in their areas of expertise. 

Everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction and then some. Fed was just the best communicator. We went through everything in detail and I have to say without hesitation, LRE more than met my expectations. I had met Donovan here on the last day and I complimented Fed and his crew for the extraordinary job they did. I sincerely hope LRE somehow recognizes them for their hard work effort and outstanding communication as professionals!

From the beginning Zac fully explained our options for securing the foundation of our historic home and protecting the wood from further moisture damage. He carefully worked with our budget to make the best choices for longevity of the home while listening to our unique needs. They took their time and made sure it was perfect. They treated us and our home like part of the family. Carlos would text me pictures of things that didn’t even have to do with the job, like a very small leak in our tub drain. LRE had ended up in the foundation bids I was collecting after a team member had been so nice to my four year old daughter at Wawa one day, months before I even knew I needed repairs. One day during lunch Carlos had gone home to save his undoubtedly adorable daughters from a snake and stepped on a metal rake that impaled his foot. The supervisor, Jim, happened to be at my house when we found out. Jim showed genuine concern for Carlos and it was obvious this is a company that values its employees. They hire people from our community that have deep roots, they hire family people, and they hire veterans. This is a company that not only would I always recommend and hire, but I wouldn’t hesitate to work for myself.

Carlos, JR, Charlie, and Caleb were outstanding and worked extremely hard in a very tight crawlspace. This was a job that very few people are able to do and I take my hat to the entire crew for a job well done! I'll also mention that they were very polite and courteous. 

All the guys who came out were great -- professional, courteous and helpful. Max kept me updated throughout the project and explained everything once completed. He sent pictures afterward as well. I felt like Zac was professional, straightforward and honest with me about what was needed.
